Joined by Tottenham Hotspur coaches Bradley Allen and John Hyatt, and Inter Milan’s Massimo Paganin and coach Valerio Candido, Ossie and the team undertook short training sessions and skills tests over the course of two days with almost 1,000 young players. At the end of the two days, 12 finalists all aged between 14 – 16 were selected to compete in the final in Beijing later this summer.
The Club, along with its principal partner AIA, is sponsoring the ground-breaking initiative aimed at developing China’s future footballing talent. The nationwide programme will see 24 winners invited to train at world-class facilities at Tottenham Hotspur and Internazionale Milano.
Tottenham Hotspur’s involvement in 2014 Football Dream forms part of the Club’s wider aims to help develop the game at grassroots level in Asia ,in partnership with AIA.
The next Football Dream Mega Selection will take place in Shanghai.
