Our Under-18s followed up their midweek FA Youth Cup success with a 5-0 win against Bristol City in the FA Premier Academy League on Saturday.
This latest victory made it 10 wins in their last 11 games and five clean sheets on the trot in all competitions - seven wins in eight in the FAPAL.
Jut like Wednesday's 3-0 FAYC fifth round win at Plymouth, the lads were soon in control.
Jon Obika opened the scoring after 25 minutes, Calum Butcher made it 2-0 just before the break and second half goals from Kudos Oyenuga, Ryan Mason and Anthony Jack completed the 5-0 scoreline.
Coach Alex Inglethorpe reported: "We dominated from the start, kept the ball way and opened the scoring when Jon Obika cut in from the right and bent the ball into the bottom corner with his left foot.
"The second goal came from a Ryan Mason corner that was initially cleared, it was played back in, Kudos Oyenuga put the keeper under pressure, he lost it and Calum Butcher tapped home.
"Kudos scored a great third goal a couple of minutes into the second half, showing power and pace before finishing low into the corner.
"Ryan Mason then missed a penalty awarded for handball but he was soon tripped in the box for another penalty which he this time stuck away. That was after about 65 minutes.
"Right at the end Anthony Jack reacted first to a loose ball in the box and finished well.
"We approached the game in the right way after Wednesday and I was particularly pleased with the tempo of our passing.
"It's never easy to set off early, make a trip like that and get straight into it and play and we capitalised on that. They did exactly the same when we made the early trip down there earlier in the season and it was interesting to see it play the other way around."
