MAURICIO, TELL US ABOUT CITY BOSS PEP GUARDIOLA, SOMEONE YOU KNOW WELL FROM YOUR TIME COACHING IN SPAIN…
Mauricio: “I was at Espanyol, he was at Barcelona and from day one, you could see his quality. I admire him a lot and we have a good relationship. I admire him for different reasons but one is because his philosophy is one I like and it’s always a challenge to play against a team managed by him. He’s one of the top managers in the world.”

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE GAME ITSELF AND THE PERFORMANCES SO FAR ON TOUR?
Mauricio: “We were good against PSG and showed a lot of character against Roma, we were unlucky to lose in the end. That's something for us to analyse and to improve but we're competing and now the final match against City in Nashville will be difficult again but we're on our way. We are calm and the objective is to arrive in the best condition for the first game of the Premier League (against Newcastle on August 13).

WHAT ABOUT OUR FANS IN THE US?
Mauricio: “They are fantastic. Just look at the Roma game - I think 80 per cent of the stadium were our supporters! We’re all excited to play in front of them again, now in Nashville. I say thank you very much to all of them.”

HUGO, CITY HAVE SIGNED A NEW GOALKEEPER IN EDERSON FROM BENFICA, WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT HIM?
Hugo: “Not too much, but I’ve watched games when he played for Benfica and he’s clearly a very talented goalkeeper, good with his feet as well - a very complete goalkeeper.”

WHAT ABOUT YOUR THOUGHTS ON FACING KYLE WALKER?
Hugo: “It’s always a pleasure to meet ex-team-mates, especially when they spent so many years at the Club. It’s a new challenge for Kyle and we’ll see him after the game - before and during we’ll focus on our performance.”

We kick-off at the Nissan Stadium at 11pm UK time (5pm local)...
