For the first time and hopefully not the last, our Football in the Community took their popular coaching scheme to Northern Ireland.
Two of our coaches spent the weekend in West Belfast to host a day-long coaching camp which gave youngsters the chance to show off their football skills. The camp was organised by the West Belfast Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Club, which enjoys a close relationship with everyone at White Hart Lane.
Around 45 junior members of the Supporters Club, both boys and girls, took part and West Belfast Liaison Officer, Joe Ferguson, said: "Everyone enjoyed themselves and the children responded extremely well to the coaches. They were put at ease straight away, laughing and joking and the children also picked up some useful skills."
Following the huge success of the Belfast trip, Football in the Community have extended the opportunity to all of our Supporters Club and look forward to organising a number of visits in the future.
