On the ball

We had 57.8% possession at Goodison Park. That included 703 touches to Everton's 583 and 485 passes to Everton's 357.

Danny Rose led the way with 70 passes to Toby Alderweireld's 61. Christian Eriksen made 56. We had a 79.8% success rate in the final third, compared to Everton's 73.1%.

Victor's debut

Victor Wanyama completed 38 passes on his debut, won five duels and made six ball recoveries.

Erik's goal

Erik Lamela's equaliser came in the 59th minute, a glancing header from Kyle Walker's cross.
