Our last meeting with the Potters came in only the second week of the season and saw us surrender a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 at White Hart Lane.
Looking back now, Nacer admits that mid-August collapse has proven to be costly as we find ourselves challenging at the top end of the Premier League table going into the last few weeks of the season.
But he insists there’s no time for regret, underlining how the players are fully focused on putting on a strong performance at the Britannia Stadium and in all of our remaining games.
Asked if the draw with Stoke was an opportunity spurned in the long-run, the Belgian international replied: “True, but what is done is in the past and we have to look forward.
“This is a game we have to win, we all know that, and we will do everything we can to make that happen.
“Stoke away is always a difficult game, we lost there last season, but we know what we are capable of as a team and we want to continue winnings matches.
“We will just have to take every game as it comes between now and the end of the season, look to take three points in every match and we’ll see what happens.”
