Jose Mourinho says his Manchester United charges will need to be at their "maximum level" to beat us in Saturday's FA Cup semi-final.
We collide with the Red Devils at Wembley for the second time this year, having secured a 2-0 win when we hosted them in the Premier League back in January.
There will be a completely different feel to this weekend's knockout clash, with the stadium split in half and supporters of both clubs there in equal number, with a place in the final of the world's oldest cup competition at stake.
Speaking about the fine margins that could decide the game, Mourinho told reporters: “I have played so many semi-finals that I still don’t know the secret to win them all. I just feel that you have to play at your best levels to mentally respect what the knockout means.
“It’s Tottenham, one of the best teams in the country, but it could be a Championship team and my feeling would be the same. A semi-final is a semi-final and has to be played at your maximum level.”
On the chance to reach the FA Cup Final and potentially lift the trophy, ex-Chelsea boss Mourinho added: “I won it only once but the feeling is great because of the meaning of the competition and we obviously have to try to give everything (to win it).
“But for now, we have to try to reach the final and, after this match, we still have four Premier League matches to focus on.”
Since beating Bournemouth 2-0 on the south coast on Wednesday, United have stayed in the capital and trained at Fulham’s facilities to avoid extensive travelling to and from their base in the north.
“I think it’s just good for us after the Bournemouth game, instead of travel back to Manchester, get the plane, then go back home, come back the next day, (then get the) train to London again,” explained Mourinho.
“We just came here (to London), we’re here together, training quietly (and are) preparing for the game the best we can.”
