We're relishing challenge - Eric

Eric Dier says we have to be wary of a Bournemouth side who will ‘play with freedom’ at the Lane on Sunday.

It’s the first of eight huge remaining Premier League fixtures as we enter the final lap of the campaign sitting second behind Leicester.

Eric helped us to a 5-1 win at Bournemouth back in October. Eddie Howe’s men were hovering just above the relegation zone at that point - they are now 13th and 13 points clear of Norwich in 18th.

“Bournemouth have been really impressive and credit to them, they play a good brand of football and they have carried themselves very well in their first season in the Premier League,” said the midfielder.

“They are on a great run and pretty much safe now, so they will play with freedom as well and with us being up at the top everyone will want to beat us, so we have to be at our best.

“We have to match them for energy, attitude, willingness and then hopefully our quality will take over.

“We’re a young team and everyone is enjoying it at the moment, everyone is relishing it and we’re loving the challenge.”
