Less than an hour after he'd pulled the strings in a vital win against the Swans, Christian's mind was on Wednesday's final trip to Upton Park and Saturday's derby.
"These are two really intense, exciting games," he said. "Hopefully at the end of the week we’ll be in a good position. We turned a corner today (Sunday) and we know we have the confidence going into these two games. We know it means a lot to the fans."
Christian was outstanding in a slightly deeper, central role against Swansea - outlined in our stats spotlight feature...
His 102 touches were at least 30 more than anyone else, he had six shots at goal and both Nacer Chadli's equaliser and Danny Rose's winner stemmed from his corners.
Talk us through your role against Swansea...
Christian: "We had the ball a lot and I had opportunities to drop a little, go and collect the ball and create. They were deep and let us have the ball and that’s one of the better things about me, I like to go forward. I’m always trying to find the right solution and the right position to play the ball forward and hopefully direct the guys. We all have the same thoughts as well and we know where to go and where to pass the ball."
It was quite a battle against Lukasz Fabianski - especially after you scored two free-kicks against him at the Liberty in October!
Christian: "He’s got his own back! I think we’re equal!"
What does this win, especially from 1-0 down, say about the team?
Christian: "We feel really confident, when we were 1-0 down it felt a bit weird because we had a lot of the ball, created a lot of chances and should really have scored in the first half. In the second half we kept going and we know we can come back in games."

We kept going and there seemed to be a belief that we'd get there in the end...
Christian: "We want to win. We know we’re in a really good position. We were 1-0 down at home against Swansea but we had the ball so much and we wanted to score, wanted to win and get the three points. The table is so close and we want to keep with Leicester as much as possible."
How did it feel when Danny's winner hit the net?
Cristian: "I had a long run to get over to him because he ran to the other side of the stadium! It was a great goal and we know how important it is for everyone. It was a relief. We had to fight hard to come from 1-0 down and managed to do it."
