TV cameras quickly panned to the touchline after Dele Alli’s miss at 2-0 - and picked up Mauricio’s reaction as he dropped to his knees and punched the turf in frustration!

But everything turned out right on the night as Harry Kane soon added that third goal and then Dele volleyed home his second and our fourth to cap a fantastic performance.

“I feel bad now!” said Mauricio with a smile as he looked back at that incident at the Britannia.

“It’s emotion. It was in a key moment where we could kill the game at 3-0 and we missed the opportunity.

“You feel very angry, but you don’t know what you do (at that moment) or what happened. I’m a little embarrassed now!

"But it’s okay, it can happen in football.”

Mauricio complimented Dele after the midfielder recovered from that miss to score a sweet volley for 4-0. “Yes, it was brilliant for him, he scored again and you know, the whole team was fantastic.”
