Spurs 1-1 Leicester - man of the match revealed

Posted on 30 October 2016  - 10:46

Goalscorer Vincent Janssen was voted Man of the Match by our supporters after Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Leicester City at White Hart Lane.

The 22-year-old Dutch international was hauled down in the box by Robert Huth shortly before half-time but dusted himself down to blast the resulting penalty past Kasper Schmeichel for his first Premier League goal since his summer move from AZ Alkmaar.

Unfortunately, we were pegged back by Ahmed Musa’s strike shortly after the interval but nevertheless, Vincent took 52 per cent of fans’ votes for Man of the Match across our official Twitter and Facebook platforms.

Here’s a look at what the front man had to say to Spurs TV after the game…

Vincent Janssen – 52%
Jan Vertonghen – 30%
Kyle Walker – 18%

Thanks to everyone who voted!
