We had five players in England's starting line-up - matching the club's best - as Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Harry, Danny and Kyle Walker lined up and completed the 90 minutes at City's Etihad Stadium.

Harry made it five goals in 11 caps with an early strike, capitalising on quick feet and an assist from Dele to slot home in just the third minute.

Turkey levelled through Hakan Calhanoglu on 13 minutes but England always looked the more likely to score going into the second half. Indeed, Harry had a penalty saved before Jamie Vardy fired home the winner from close range.

Danny looked to raid forward all night and caught the eye of Glenn Hoddle, who named him Man of the Match.

Next up for England is friendly against Australia at Sunderland's Stadium of Light on Friday (May 27).

Meanwhile, DeAndre Yedlin started as the USA beat Puerto Rico 3-1 in a friendly in Bayamon. Jurgen Klinsmann's squad continue preparations for the Copa America with a friendly against Ecuador in Dallas in the early hours of Thursday.
