The 20-year-old ball-playing central midfielder, who recently made his Premier League debut as a late substitute in our 1-1 draw with Liverpool, has put pen to paper on a new deal until 2021.
The summer months saw him produce some impressive performances for the senior side and, having been in and around the matchday squad in the opening weeks of the campaign, he is eyeing further progress as the year goes on.
"I’ve had a good start to the season, come back in good shape after the summer and I’m loving every minute," said the Hemel Hempstead-born youngster, a star of our academy set-up in recent years.
"To be offered a new contract is the icing on the cake and I’m delighted. The manager has done some excellent things with the young players here, including myself. He likes to push us all, he wants to get the best out of us and I believe I’m improving every day.
"I’m young and hungry but I haven’t done anything yet in football. I’ve still got a lot to do and a lot to prove. I will continue to work hard throughout my career but at this moment in time, I can’t get carried away with anything. I’m here to work, here to help the team and this contract reflects that.
"Hopefully I can push on and get more game time this season and, fingers crossed, it will only go up for me from here."
Harry got the briefest of tasters of top flight action when he replaced Christian Eriksen in stoppage time against Liverpool at the end of last month and it's fair to say that experience whetted his appetite for more opportunities.
"My Premier League debut was brilliant and it's something I’ll remember for the rest of my life," he said. "Coming on at 1-1 in a big game against Liverpool at a tense time, that showed faith in me (from Mauricio) which I appreciate and I have to repay that faith by putting in good performances when I get the chance.
"That’s what you want as a young player, you want a manager who will push you on and a manager who has faith in you and trusts you to play. I believe he’s given me that opportunity as a little taster – I want more, obviously, so every time he gives me an opportunity I have to prove that I’m worthy and take the chance."
