Harry's 20-20 vision

Harry Kane is ticking off the records again.

His stunning effort against Arsenal took him to 20 goals in all competitions for the campaign and in doing so, became only the 12th Spurs player to score 20 goals or more in successive seasons since the club entered the Football League in 1908.

That total has quickly become 24 with doubles against Villa and Bournemouth.

Sunday's quickfire brace against Bournemouth - goals after 44 seconds and 16 minutes - not only paved the way for a convincing 3-0 win, but took Harry to and beyond the 20-goal mark in the Premier League for the second-successive season after his 21-goal haul last term.

In doing so, he's now only the seventh player since we entered the Football League in 1908 to hit back-to-back 20s for us in a league campaign.

Mark Falco went close in 1984-85 (22 league goals) and 1985-86 (19 league goals) but you have to go back to the early 1970s and the great Martin Chivers for the last player to score successive league 20s for Spurs - 'Big Chiv' managed it in 1970-71 (21) and 1971-72 (25).

"That's not a bad stat!" said a delighted Harry after Sunday's victory. "It's great to break 20 league goals again."
