Our home-grown goal-getter added another brace to his tally at Stoke City on Monday night, taking his domestic total for the season to 24 – two ahead of Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy and Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.
Harry, who has also netted three times in the cup competitions over the course of the campaign, was the Premier League’s second top goalscorer last term with 21, five behind Aguero.
But attacking midfielder Erik, who put the striker’s second goal on a plate for him in the 4-0 win at the Britannia Stadium, reckons his team-mate can go one better this time and outscore the rest of the division.
“I’m happy to see Harry scoring – I want him to win the Golden Boot because he is my team-mate and my friend,” said Erik.
“I want the best for him and for all of the team. As we go forward we have to play like we’ve been playing in the recent matches, putting on good performances all together.
“It’s easy for us to play like this because we are a team and we want to keep improving for our future.”
