Stephen Kelly will win his first cap for the Republic of Ireland in the friendly international against Chile on Wednesday (7.30).

The full-back has featured in previous squads without getting on the pitch, but he will start against the South Americans in the Republic's only summer friendly, which follows on from a training camp with new national team boss Steve Staunton.

Also in the starting line-up is captain Robbie Keane, while Andy Reid and 16-year-old Terry Dixon are also in the squad.
