Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Jacques Santini has his fingers crossed that his internationals arrive back at Spurs in one piece as he prepares for a tough September.

Thirteen players are on international duty - Paul Robinson, Jermain Defoe, Ledley King, Thimothee Atouba, Simon Davies, Erik Edman, Fredi Kanoute, Robbie Keane, Kasey Keller, OJ Mabizela, Noureddine Naybet, Phil Ifil and Marton Fulop.

"We are split into two parts," said Jacques. "We have eight or nine in London and many players away for international games.

"Hopefully the international players will come back with confidence and not injured.

"September is a difficult month because we have four games in the championship plus the Carling Cup.

"I've already been told that Oldham are a very good side and we also play against Chelsea and Manchester United.

"I hope the players recover well from the start to the season and return fit from internationals. I feel we have to stay fit and not have any injuries for these games."
