Chris Hughton insists no-one is getting carried away with our bright start to the Premiership campaign.

We currently sit second in the table following our victory against Everton on Saturday. Charlton missed the chance to leapfrog back over us by drawing against Fulham on Monday night.

We've won our last three fixtures against Fulham, Charlton and Everton and it's all set up nicely for Saturday's trip to Manchester United and a second versus third encounter at Old Trafford.

IT'S GREAT TO BE WHERE WE ARE AT THE MOMENT AND THERE'S A REAL BUZZ ABOUT THE PLACE

"It's been a very, very good run for us but one thing we're aware of at the moment in this league is that - perhaps apart from against Chelsea - everyone else has opportunities to win games.

"The likes of United and Arsenal have perhaps had indifferent starts to the season by their standards and that's given hope to a lot of clubs up there. It's early in the season and it's the old cliche around here - you can't afford to get carried away.

"The moment you do, three or four poor results are just around the corner. That is the nature of the Premiership."
