Glenn Hoddle insists no-one is getting carried away after our fantastic start to the season.
We topped the table until last night after three wins and a draw in our first four games - form that earned Glenn the first Manager of the Month accolade of the season.
But Glenn explained: "It's nice to be there but it's still very early doors, four games into the season and that doesn't give any understanding of how the Premiership will go this season.
"After 10 games, possibly, if we are still in the top three or four, that will be a very good aim for us.
"While we're unbeaten, it's a goal and aim for us to maintain it and that's how we'll feel going across to Fulham."
Fulham have already wracked up 11 competitive fixtures after their successful Inter Toto Cup campaign but, while that was seen as an advantage in the first weeks of the season, Glenn believes we are now on a level playing field regarding match fitness.
He added: "They've played European football, high-tempo games but I think we're now well and truly into our season.
"Loftus Road will be interesting as well, it will be different. It's a smaller pitch and environment. It will be a great atmosphere."
