The team news sees Steven Caulker and John Bostock both start - they are eligible to do so under the terms of their youth loans at Yeovil and Brentford respectively.

88.22: Good strength from Nicholls to take Fredericks' cross from Oyenuga.

80.49: Bostock chase with Buxton down the left, skill left him on the floor, cross well taken by Nicholls diving out at his near post.

78.55: Bostock's crossfield pass released Fredericks, he zipped past Mayer and cross for Parrett at the near post, Langley made fine block.

Added time (46.13): Mayer got the slightest of touches to take Bostock's deep cross away from Fredericks a the far post. Parrett's shot then blocked and ball cleared.

44.06: CLOSE - WIGAN. Their best yet. Butler touched away Breeze's corner and the ball fell to Crane, whose shot was deflected inches wide into the side-netting. The second corner was cleared to Boothman, who hit a dipping volley over.

10.44: Moment of danger as Boothman raced on to Morris' flick, he went over under Waller-Lassen's challenge on the edge of the box and the whistle sounded - for an offside.

8.45: GOAL - SPURS. Ideal start. Bostock, central, played the ball wide left to Mpoku and went on the overlap around him, received the ball back on the left touchline and fired in a low cross to the near post where Kane slid in to score.
