Alex Inglethorpe has no shortage of injuries to deal with as he prepares our Under-18s for tonight's FA Youth Cup third round tie at Chester City.

Long-term absentee Terry Dixon (knee) is joined on the sidelines by Matthew Wells (foot), Jamie Davis (hamstring), and Alex Smith (shin) as the lads step out in the competition for the first time this season.

"We’re struggling a little," admitted coach Alex. "We're without Terry, Matty, Jamie and Alex and they are all big players for us.

"We’ve missed Terry all season and he’s a phenomenal prospect. In some respects, that makes the level of consistency we’ve been able to find all the more remarkable."

The lads travel to Chester on a run of 10 matches unbeaten in the FA Premier Academy League, having lost just once in competitive action this season.

Tonight's tie at the Saunders Honda Stadium kicks-off at 7pm.
