Jermaine Jenas and Michael Dawson paid tribute to the Spurs fans after Tuesday night's Champions League loss at Real Madrid.
And skipper Michael insisted the players were determined to put on a show in the quarter-final, second leg back at the Lane on Wednesday week, April 13.
Midfielder JJ and his team-mates ran themselves into the ground after going down to 10 men after just 15 minutes of this huge European tie.
In the end we were on the end of a 4-0 defeat - but JJ insisted the noise from the very top tier of the Bernabeu kept the team going.
"The fans have been brilliant throughout the season, no matter what," said JJ.
"Even at 4-0 down I heard them chanting and that’s fantastic. That spurred the lads on.
"When it got really tough and lads were starting to cramp up towards the end, their voices kept us going."
Michael added: "We know it’s a tough task (in the second leg) but come Wednesday, we’ll be going out there trying to put on a good performance and take it to them.
"The fans will be there like they have all season, they’ve travelled with us everywhere and they’ve been on a great journey as well.
"So we’ll go out and try to put on a performance for them."
William Gallas agreed: "We have to try and win for our fans. We will do our best to win."
