The squad was split into two, with the players who started Sunday’s 2-1 win at Southampton just having a warm-down after their exertions at St Mary’s.
Meanwhile, the rest of the lads went through a full session, starting with warm-ups with Fitness Coach Jose Mario Rocha and into football routines, shooting and finally, a seven-a-side match that ended with a dramatic winning goal!
"It was extremely good for us and it was great to give something back to our fans," said Head Coach Andre Villas-Boas.
"It's good to see them over here and it gives the supporters a chance to see their idols in training and to see how they prepare for games."
Steffen Freund kept the supporters in touch with what was happening in front of them with regular updates on the Jumbotrons from pitchside.
He added: "It's great to have the fans here at the Lane and of course it's great to have a good, strong training session after the Southampton match.
"It's enjoyable and it's a part of my job to keep the supporters happy and, of course, to keep the players happy."
The lower tiers of the West and North Stands were packed for what is always a popular event for families.
