A reminder to all fans that no abusive or obscene language will be tolerated at White Hart Lane and that Stewards will take action against anyone heard using such language.
Portsmouth v Spurs, September 28
Given that we do not tolerate any form of obscene or abusive chanting/singing at White Hart Lane and have taken strong action against offenders, when we are away from home we would expect our fans to respect the stewarding policies at the stadia they are visiting.
We await a full report on the incident and we are happy to cooperate with Hampshire Constabulary and the FA should an enquiry take place.
If you hear anyone within White Hart Lane using discriminatory language please report this to the Club by texting the Control Room on the number below - this number can also be found in Sunday's official matchday programme against Hull City.
Texting Service - 07766 553 225
The Texting Service is unique at White Hart Lane and has been used to good effect in the past couple of seasons in enabling us to ban people for committing offences on matchdays.
Foul, abusive and racist language will not be tolerated in the stadium, but should you experience any of these and wish to report it, you can do so by texting the Control Room on the above number. You do not have to put up with mindless supporters who are intent on ruining your day, so use the system, report the individuals and let us take it from there.
For our staff, it is better to monitor the problem as it is happening, we can view the area of concern on CCTV and deal with everything quickly.
Spurs Against Discrimination
We do not tolerate discrimination of any sort at the Club, on the pitch or in the stands. If you experience any form of discrimination, help us to eliminate it from football by reporting it - text us on 07766 553 225 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org - we will treat your correspondence in strictest confidence.
We have a fantastic atmosphere at the Lane and by working together we can prevent the small minority ruining for everyone.
