Fans' behaviour - a reminder

Recent incidents have brought the Club under the spotlight of the football authorities.

At Stoke City, a fan threw a coin in the 19th minute as Stoke were preparing to take a penalty. This is not only a criminal offence, but could lead to disciplinary action being taken against the Club.

At last week's match with Arsenal, a small number of fans ran onto the pitch when we scored our late equaliser.

As a result of both of these incidents, we are now the subject of investigations by the Football Association.

We understand that emotions can often take over during a match, but we must ask you to consider your actions and the impact they will have on you and your Club.

The throwing of any object within the ground and entering the field of play are both arrestable offences and the Club will have no option but to impose indefinite bans on any fan found guilty of these offences.

Please think about your actions, whether supporting us at home or away, and work with the Club and our Stewards to eradicate this type of behaviour from matchdays and rather make them an enjoyable experience for everyone.

Home Matches

If you hear anyone within White Hart Lane using discriminatory language please report this to the Club by texting the Control Room on the number below - this number can also be found in our official matchday programme.

Texting Service - 07766 553 225

The Texting Service is unique to White Hart Lane and has been used to good effect in the past couple of seasons in enabling us to ban people for committing offences on matchdays.

Foul, abusive and racist language will not be tolerated in the stadium, but should you experience any of these and wish to report it, you can do so by texting the Control Room on the above number. You do not have to put up with mindless supporters who are intent on ruining your day, so use the system, report the individuals and let us take it from there.

For our staff, it is better to monitor the problem as it is happening, we can view the area of concern on CCTV and deal with everything quickly.

Spurs Against Discrimination

We do not tolerate discrimination of any sort at the Club, on the pitch or in the stands. If you experience any form of discrimination, help us to eliminate it from football by reporting it - text us on 07766 553 225 or email us at - we will treat your correspondence in strictest confidence.

We have a fantastic atmosphere at the Lane and by working together we can prevent the small minority ruining for everyone.
