It was the Swedish international's first view of the stadium after his arrival from Dutch outfit SC Heerenveen.
Erik, 25, received a warm welcome from 3,000-plus fans at the Lane to watch the players train.
"It's a fantastic stadium," said the defender. " I'm not used to this back in Holland. We have 14 to 15,000 fans per game. This is totally different and as good as it gets."
Erik revealed that he'd just about had time to say 'hello' to the lads before training.
"I haven't had much of a chance to meet the players," he added. "I just came in and said 'hello, I'm Erik'. That's about it so far.
"I've played against a few of them with the Swedish team including Jermain Defoe in the friendly against England in March.
"I've also watched a lot of the Premiership on television so I'm aware of the players here."
White Hart Lane made quite an impression on our latest recruit Erik Edman at yesterday's open day.
