Tuesday's famous Champions League win over European champions Inter Milan at the Lane was extra special for Carlo Cudicini.
Milan-born, the goalkeeper started his career at our opponents' great rivals AC Milan, where his father Fabio was something of a legend.
After coming off the bench to replace the dismissed Heurelho Gomes in our 4-3 defeat at the San Siro a fortnight before, Carlo was determined to make amends.
And he feels we gained our revenge in some style with a 3-1 victory he describes as ‘magnificent'.
Carlo said: "It was a great result and for me it was a double good feeling! It's great for the club, which is the most important thing, and it's great for me being an AC Milan supporter - it leaves a sweet taste!
"Especially after the first game in Milan where I conceded three goals and, despite a great second half, we lost the game. This time it was very important to get the three points and I thought the team were magnificent.
"The manager told us to forget it was Inter and forget that they're champions. He told us to play like we know how, and that's what happened."
