Chris Hughton can feel the sense of excitement around the club as we aim for our first cup final under Glenn Hoddle - insisting it's a feeling we want to get used to.
We travel to Stamford Bridge tonight for the first leg of our Worthington Cup semi-final against Chelsea.
The reward for the winners will be a final at Cardiff's magnificent Millennium Stadium and a step closer to European football next season.
First team coach Chris has seen it all before as a player when he played in seven cup finals during his 11 years at the Lane.
Now he wants it all again as part of the management team. "It's a very exciting time and as we grow as a club and a team, we will want this all the time," he said.
"The next stages are to be consistently in that top four or five so every game becomes a bigger game and each team you play against wants to beat you even more and taking that, hopefully, into playing in Europe.
"These are the moments that you look forward to. Weeks like this, when it's a massive game at Chelsea, a second leg in two weeks' time, the rearranged game against Coventry coming up and hopefully going through that one.
"These are all very exciting moments and you have to make the most of them."
