We put Everton under intense pressure in the first half but, after Harry Kane's effort from distance hit the post, rolled across the face of goal and went out for a goal-kick, it was the Toffees who took the lead when former Spur Aaron Lennon fired smartly into the net.
We drew level on the stroke of half-time when Dele Alli controlled Toby Alderweireld's ball forward expertly before sliding the ball home but, try as we might, we couldn't find a winner in the second period.
