Midfielder Jake Livermore believes this season's Europa League campaign is providing our youngsters with fantastic experience.
The 22-year-old has played in all five of our European fixtures so far and is hoping to continue that run against Rubin Kazan on Thursday night.
"The competition's been great. For a few of the younger lads and players it's a good opportunity to get a bit of game time in and a bit of togetherness.
"Each game is a good experience for me and we're taking a young squad out there, it should be a good experience for all of us.
"I think Tom Carroll in particular has done brilliantly, he's great to play with and he's come on leaps and bounds. Andros (Townsend) too, and Harry Kane. It's great for them all to be involved and hopefully they can push on from there."
Jake played the full 90 minutes at White Hart Lane against the Russian team two weeks ago as we fought hard for a 1-0 win, and he's expecting another tough battle at the Tsentralnyi Stadion.
"Obviously they're a good team, it wasn't long ago that they beat Barcelona in Barcelona. They came and gave us a good test at home but we're looking forward to going out there and trying to get a result."
