Putting on a good performance in our last home game of the season is important to Christian Eriksen.

The midfielder has been as disappointed as anyone with recent results but, with relegation-threatened Hull City arriving at White Hart Lane on Saturday in our penultimate game of the campaign, the dynamic Dane is determined to put on a show in front of our own supporters.

“We want to finish the season really strongly and hopefully we’ll do that – especially in Saturday’s game at the Lane,” said Christian, who has played in every one of our 36 Premier League games so far this term – starting 35 and going on as a substitute once.

“We haven’t always done it in every home match this season, we’ve had some off games, but hopefully we’ll finish well in front of our own fans.

“We know as well that we’re coming up against a Hull team who are fighting for their lives in the Premier League so it’s a really important game for them.

“But, of course, the same goes for us as well and we are just as hungry for the points because we’ll need them to get into Europe. We are determined to win the game.”
