’s treble and goals from Mousa Dembele and Erik Lamela saw us run out 5-1 winners at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday to extend our unbeaten run in the Premier League to nine games.
It was the ideal response after the disappointment of a Europa League defeat away to Anderlecht last Thursday, with attacking midfielder Christian thrilled to have bounced back in such convincing fashion.
“It was really important to win after the result on Thursday,” said the Danish international, who saw Matt Ritchie put the Cherries into a first-minute lead before we stormed back.
“We didn’t start the game that well because they scored with their first chance, but we know we can fight back and luckily we did that.
“Anderlecht woke us up and everyone was angry after that game at the way we lost, but it’s good to show straight away that we’re capable of doing better.
“We showed our spirit as a team as well. After the first 10 minutes when there were a few long balls, we got it down and played our football.
“I’m feeling really good and confident at the moment but that goes for all the team – we’re playing with confidence and we want to play forward.”
