Erik Edman has praised the fans for sticking behind the lads to the bitter end against Arsenal.
An electric atmosphere after superb performance for 45 minutes was dampened when Thierry Henry levelled in first half injury time.
The second half was a different, amazing story with seven goals as Arsenal forged ahead 3-1 and stayed ahead despite us coming back for 3-2, 4-3 and 5-4 at the end.
"The atmosphere was fantastic and although we conceded sloppy goals the supporters were behind us all the way, that was great for us," said full-back Erik who experienced his first North London derby after returning from injury.
"It was like giving early Christmas presents to your opponents and you can't do that against Arsenal. They punished us. I think maybe they had six chances, they scored five and we gave them four I think. It wasn't nice.
"The team fought hard and we fought for 90 minutes. That was important. We were never going to give up, we stayed in there and that is a good feeling for the weeks ahead."
