After making his comeback from injury in last weekend’s FA Cup defeat to Leicester, the Argentine international had much more to celebrate after helping us reach the Capital One Cup final with a 3-2 aggregate victory over the Blades on Wednesday night.
With a trip to The Hawthorns next on the agenda, the attacking midfielder has targeted a positive result as we seek to add to our Premier League points tally and erase the memory of the home defeat we suffered at the hands of the Baggies back in September.
“All games are difficult so we need to continue to work hard at West Brom,” said the 22-year-old. “We lost to them at home before but now we are playing better and we know we can win away.
“We have played a lot of games this season, often twice a week, but we have a good squad to allow us to continue in the Premier League and Europa League.
“For me, I am happy that I played again on Wednesday as I am still recovering my full fitness. It’s a big thing to get to Wembley and I’m excited that we are in the final of the Capital One Cup as we would like to win something this year.
“We need to continue now in the Premier League, to be aggressive and always look to improve.”
