Erik Edman feels our luck will turn as he looked back on a big decision which went against him at Bolton on Tuesday.
With the game goalless, the Swede was penalised for handball in the area when he was pushed and the ball hit his shoulder. Not many people spotted any offence, it was initially assumed in the press gantry that the penalty was awarded against Stephen Kelly and there were not appeals from the Bolton players.
"Of course, key moments went against us," considered the unlucky full-back, who insists the focus must switch to the home encounter with Portsmouth on Saturday. "I got a push and the ball hit my shoulder, it was definitely not on purpose. I thought it was more a free-kick to us and I was very surprised.
"Now we have to move on and there is a new game coming up. Maybe we have lacked a little bit of consistency but we are doing are best and hopefully we can get a good result on Saturday.
"You need some luck and lately it hasn't really gone our way. In the long run luck tends to even itself our though and you get what you deserve in the end. We will keep training hard and will keep doing our best."
