The all-action Argentine returned to the first team fold after over 13 months away through injury at Leicester on Tuesday.
Off the bench on 77 minutes, Erik took just 80 seconds to make his mark, setting up Harry Kane’s goal as we just fell short at the KP.
It was a huge step for Erik - and he’s determined to play his part as we look to return to winning ways in the Premier League at Vicarage Road on Saturday (KO 3pm).
“First of all, it’s amazing to be back,” said Erik. “Unfortunately we didn’t get the points at Leicester but we need to carry on and keep working hard to get better.
“There are a lot of games coming now and I believe in this team, 100 per cent. We have a great spirit and I know we will get better. It’s only a bad week. We will work hard to keep improving.”
