Erik Edman is looking for a positive finish to his up and down season.
The Swedish full-back has been in and out with various injuries as he's battled for the left-back spot with Thimothee Atouba.
However, with Thimothee suspended, Erik has played the last two games and is set to start at Anfield on Saturday. His late game, the 1-0 win against Newcastle, was one of his best of the campaign.
"I've had concussion, different injuries - it's been up and down for me this season," said Erik.
"We have six games left and I want to play all six. If you play as a wing-back or full-back and the team plays well, you have a big chance to play well as well.
"We have been more consistent lately and done particularly well at home.
"I've started the last couple of games and it's made me feel confident to go out and play. I want to come up more into attacking areas, the chances to do that go come and go but I managed to do it against Newcastle."
