Many of the teachers came from schools that our Community Scheme works with as part of the Enfield Healthy Schools programme, which provides coaches to support Enfield Schools in the promotion of physical activity.
The people in Accra, Ghana, had a huge interest in Britain and particularly football. They were very knowledgeable about the Premiership with one class visited evening recognising the geography of England primarily in relation to its football teams.
The children from the Ghanaian schools, Hannah School and Tema School, were delighted with the gifts. They would love to hear from any of our young Spurs fans that would like to have a pen pal - contact us if you're interested.
Local Enfield teachers visiting Ghana on an International Professional Development trip have taken a selection of Spurs kits as a gift to local school children.
