Our discussions with Enfield and the GLA identified the need for design revisions to the main building, while the community consultation identified that the key concern was the impact of the Club’s Community Partnership Facility plans on Bullsmoor Open Space.
We have listened and to address these issues we have reviewed our plans and submitted a revised planning application.
The main changes include:
- Improvements to the overall design of the First Team and Academy Training Centre.
- Improvements to the layout of the training centre making better use of the space allowing for a reduction in the overall area of the building by 900 sqm.
- Making the facility ‘greener’ through the use of renewable energy and more efficient water use and recycling.
We were grateful for your support of our original planning application, but we would ask for your help again in order to ensure that the Council understands the strength of support for our plans. Your letter will count.
If you are able to support our plans please write to the Council.
Can we stress that only those supporters who live within the Borough of Enfield should write – the postcodes covered by Borough of Enfield are as follows: EN1, EN2, EN3, EN4 (part) EN8 (part) N9, N11 (part) N13, N14, N17 (part) N18, N21, N22 (part).
