Chris Hughton offers his end of season views on the performances and progress of the first team squad...

ANDY REID
It has been a little bit up and down for Andy, who was very, very disappointed after forging his way back into the side to pick up the injuries at Middlesbrough and then at Fulham.

His season has fluctuated with injuries. As a left-sided player he is one, when in form, who we can always do with and he certainly adds a big value to the squad. He has just been unfortunate with injuries at bad times.

TEEMU TAINIO
Teemu has been a wonderful find for us. The fact that he can play in any one of perhaps three or four positions has been his real value to the team.

He never lets anybody down, he is a very committed player on the pitch. We would like him to score more goals because he does have a quality, but he also has the ability to assist and see a pass.

He is two-footed and is a real asset not only to the team, but to the squad. He is a great lad and one of quite a few who are very appreciative of the fact that they are here and playing in a good footballing side in a very good league. He was in France for seven years and this was a new challenge for him, he has certainly been up to the challenge and we look forward to having him back next season.
