Chris Hughton pens his end of term reports looking back on the performances over the squad over season 2006-07...Teemu Tainio: He's such a reliable player and one of those players you value in your squad because he can play in a number of positions and generally whatever role you give him, he'll do it very well. He's been a big asset for us again.

Paul Stalteri: A difficult season for Paul because of injuries and I felt for him because he's a good character. What I will say is when he came in, he gave 100 per cent, as always. It's been frustrating though because he's a fit lad who wants to play.

Jermaine Jenas: He was excellent again. He scored eight goals and for me, the only shame was the period he missed through injury because I'm quite sure he would have reached double-figures otherwise. He sets himself new standards every season and did it again. There aren't that many goalscoring midfielders and they are so valuable. You've got Cahill at Everton, Gerrard, who sometimes plays wide and has a freer role at Liverpool and Lampard is perhaps the best example at Chelsea. One thing is JJ's goals, another is his contribution, generally there is no-one who covers as much ground as he does.

Dimitar Berbatov: What more can you say? Whenever you bring a player in, even though you might regard him as a good player, you are never quite sure how well he'll do. Berba has just got better and better as the season has gone on. He is a player that players admire. He's a different type of player than I've seen here. He has such an awareness around him, physically he's quite strong and when he wants to keep the ball, he can keep it. It was his first season and he deserves the accolades he's been given. We're all looking forward to next season.
