It is the final game of the season and also Teddy's last game for the club following the decision not to renew his contract.
The skipper will doubtless be seeking to go out with a bang before bidding an emotional farewell to the White Hart Lane crowd.
"It will be," said Teddy. "I've got a few programme notes in there for people to read but, on the whole, it will be very emotional.
"I've enjoyed my time playing for Tottenham in both stints and it will be an emotional day."
Teddy insists that his playing career is not over, but agrees that the last two years since returning to the club have passed very quickly.
"It has, but even the first five years flew by and you just don't know where it's gone.
"When you start out as a young boy playing you just don't think it is going to end. Having said that, I've had 20 great years playing football and I've enjoyed every minute of it.
"I appreciate where I've come from and what I've done. It's not over yet, just from a Tottenham point of view."
Teddy Sheringham admits that today's encounter with Blackburn at the Lane will be an emotional occasion for him.
