Clive Allen says he's seen improvement in a week from Emil Hallfredsson.
The Icelandic youngster combined with fellow new recruit David Limbersky for the penalty slotted away by Lee Barnard in our 1-1 reserve draw at Crystal Palace on Tuesday night.
Emil played in a central role as opposed to left midfield on his debut in the nightmare against Southampton.
Coach Clive said: "The circumstances of last week meant it was a tough introduction for him but he came more to terms with what reserve team football is all about and there was a vast improvement in everyone's performance.
"He has to take a lot of positives. I thought he looked stronger and with another week's work under his belt he'll then have another good game to look forward to at Norwich next week."
