Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

There is no further news on Gary Doherty ahead of the visit of Chelsea, while a late decision will be made on the fitness of Darren Anderton.

Doc was stretchered after ten minutes of the Worthington Cup win over Torquay, having sustained suspected ligament damage. Darren did not feature in midweek and Glenn will assess his Achilles problem on Saturday.

"There is no change on Doc," said Glenn. "We’ll know a lot later today, he is still having scans.

"Darren has been training today, he is still managing his Achilles problem and we’ll see how it is on Saturday."

Good news for Glenn was the appearance of both Anthony Gardner and Ben Thatcher in a private reserve team friendly against Gillingham.

However, Glenn feels that the duo need to get some competitive action under their belts before they are considered for first team duty.

"Tony and Ben haven’t played a competitive reserve game yet and it would be asking too much for them to come back against Chelsea."

Glenn explained that his methods of injury management have been successful so far, with most of the injuries sustained having come in the midst of combat.

"We’ve had no control over the injuries we’ve picked up this season," he refelcted.

"Gary Doherty was injured in a tackle, so was Stephen Clemence, and Steffen Iversen wasn’t even playing for us.

"We haven’t had one strain or pulled muscle, but what we have had is the aftermath of matches."

Stephen Carr, Chris Armstrong, Tim Sherwood and Willem Korsten are unavailable for Sunday, while Gus Poyet is suspended.

Striker Mikael Forssell is still likely to be ruled out with an ankle injury, while Winston Bogarde picked up a slight groin problem in training recently and Albert Ferrer and Sam dalla Bona will not be considered.

Winger Jesper Gronkjaer was wearing strapping on his knee after training but is still in contention, while Ed de Goey will continue in goal although Carlo Cudicini is now fit again to rejoin the squad.
