It’s little over five weeks now until DJ Nihal and Kulveer Ranger take on the British London 10k Run in the name of SOS Children.
Last week we told you how the pair had begun their training regime at Spurs Lodge with the help of Sam Erith, our Head of Sports Science, Fitness and Conditioning.
However, due to the busy lifestyles of a Radio One DJ and a top aide to the Mayor of London, finding the time to get in shape for the Run hasn’t been easy.
Nihal said: “After doing nine radio shows and five TV shows, I haven't trained at all for the last week! But since seeing Sam I have officially given up eating sweets and cakes. I'm determined to get that body fat thing down.”
Kulveer added: “Since the fitness test I’ve been on a treadmill of planes and trains taking in meetings in Berlin, Brussels and Brazil - running up and down the main motorway in Sao Paulo wearing a Spurs shirt!”
So this is where you come in…
The guys need a bit of inspiration and to realise just how much money they can raise for such a good cause in SOS Children, our official charity partner.
The charity provides more than 70,000 children with a new home, mother and family for life in 473 unique Children's Villages around the world. A further one million families are supported by community outreach programmes.
