Duo impress McClaren

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Middlesbrough boss Steve McClaren was pleased with the performances of Benito Carbone and Franck Queudrue in Saturday's 1-1 draw.

Quedrue scored a fine equaliser and Carbone was at the heart of any inventiveness for Boro.

"I thought Beni was very, very good and Franck's also done well again," said McClaren.

"Beni's certainly a crowd favourite and he's certainly putting pressure on and doing exactly what I thought he would do when he came here.

"He's just providing us with a spirit and a link between midfield and attack, and excellent football. He's doing everything which I thought he would do - and a little bit more."

Of Queudrue, McClaren added: "I'm fed up with fans coming up to me, especially lady fans, and telling me to sign him - for his football, I hasten to add.

"He's a tremendous character and he's really improved since he first came into the team. And again, he's another crowd favourite.

"They're putting all kinds of pressure on me at the present time. They're performing very well and they have to keep doing it week in, week out."
