Goalkeeper Espen Baardsen and midfielder Allan Nielsen have moved to First Division outfit Watford.
Our director of football David Pleat confirmed on Thursday that the transfers had been completed. He said: "I can confirm that the transfers of Baardsen and Nielsen have gone through for a combined fee of L4million."
We broke the news that the Hornets were in talks with the out-of-favour pair last Friday.
Danish international Nielsen carved his name in the club's history by heading home the last-minute winner in the 1999 Worthington Cup Final at Wembley.
However, the arrival of Tim Sherwood and Oyvind Leonhardsen and the continuing improvement of Stephen Clemence saw him slip down the pecking order at the Lane.
Nielsen went on loan to Wolves at the end of last season and still did enough to make Denmark's squad for the European Championships.
Norwegian international Baardsen impressed in two stints in the first team in January 1998 and from August-November 1998. However, manager George Graham reinstated Ian Walker in December 1998 and Baardsen hasn't featured since. The arrival of Neil Sullivan this summer made him our third-choice keeper.
