Spurs U17s 4-0 Watford

Andy Barcham made a dream debut by bagging a hat-trick to sink Watford.

Jimmy Neighbour's boys went down early but Barcham was on the end of Owen Price's corner to level the scores after 16 minutes.

It stayed that way until the 70th minute when exactly the same combination from another corner got our noses in front.

However, it was soon level again at 2-2 when the visitors cashed in on a defensive mix up.

Not to be outdone, we hit back with the goal of the game after 81 minutes as Michael Malcolm raced onto Charlie Lee's pass and delightfully lobbed the goalkeeper.

Barcham completed his hat-trick three minutes later from as Malcolm nodded back Charlie Daniels' deep cross and he finished well from close range.

Boss Jimmy said: "Andy's an Under-16 schooboy, it was his first start for us and good luck to him. Let's hope he makes the most of it now and keeps working hard at his game."

As for the result and performance, Jimmy added: "Credit to the lads, they showed plenty of spirit and determination."
