Against the team managed by former Everton goalkeeper Neville Southall, Colin hints that he could field a stronger side than the young team available to him against Southampton on Monday.
"We're going to Dover and I think we're going to go with a more experienced side than on Monday.
"But that's subject to change as all things are!"
The reserves were a very young outfit against Southampton and Colin hopes this pool of players seizes their chance over the coming weeks.
"The boys know that they might get two or three games in the reserves over the next couple of weeks. So it would be nice to take the group we had on Monday and see where we go."
Meanwhile, our reserve trip to Nottingham Forest, scheduled for Tuesday 15th January, has be bought forward a day and will now take place on Monday 14th, kick-off 7pm.
Colin Calderwood is taking a team to Dover Athletic on Thursday evening for a friendly match, kick-off 7.30pm.
