Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Steffen Iversen stepped back on the goal trail as a Tottenham XI beat Dover Athletic 4-1 in Thursday night's friendly.

Our Norwegian hitman suffered a slight abductor strain that ruled him out of our busy festive period but he was back on target in a 64-minute stint against the Nationwide Conference outfit.

A goalscorer in his last first team appearance last month, Iversen crashed Oyvind Leonhardsen's cross into the roof of the net to open the scoring after 44 minutes.

Dover levelled with a penalty after 47 minutes but our young side took over after that.

John Piercy restored the lead via Iversen's assist after 69 minutes and young striker John Sutton tapped home six minutes later after Ghyslain Vedeux's shot came back off the home keeper. Yannick Kamanan capped it with the fourth with seven minutes left.

Spurs XI: Kelly, Consorti (Lee), Herron, Thelwell, O'Donoghue, Piercy, Snee (Vedeux), Hughes, Iversen (Sutton), Kamanan, Leonhardsen.
